He has been practicing as an ENT surgeon for the past 20 years graduating from University of Malaya with Masters in ORL-HNS in 1998. He had done his Fellowship in Rhinology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide in 2005 and is certified by the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. He is the chairperson of Rhinology training and has been involved in the training of ENT specialist to become Rhinology sub-specialists since 2008. He has trained 15 such specialists who are practicing all over Malaysia.

Rhinoplasty is well known to be the most difficult aspect of plastic surgery which is the reason why it takes years to master the art. He has been doing rhinoplasty for the past decade and given talks at national level on rhinoplasty.
